Project Costs
Typically these start at about £25,000.00 plus VAT for a hardwood glazed structure of 10 square meters (108 square feet).Larger structures of, say 20 square metres will cost in the region of £40,000.00 plus VAT. The guide price is based upon a figure of £2,000-2,500.00 a square metre plus VAT.
These guide prices include the associated building works, but exclude the cost of alterations to existing buildings (such as new openings), floor finish, heating and electrical installations.
Cost will vary according to many factors including design, details, size, site conditions, location and materials. In particular, steel and aluminium construction, or structural glazing will increase costs by approximately 15%.
If planning permission or building regulation approval is required, additional design fees will apply.
