Trombe were appointed to design and install the specialist glazing aspects of the project.
An existing house in central London was being fully refurbished over 7 storeys behind the existing façade. The double height glass box was the main feature of the design.
The key feature of the glass box was the 6m tall pivot doors which were believe to be the largest of their kind in the UK at the point of installation.
The glass box also incorporated an automatic opening rooflight.
The design tested the boundaries of design and installation on a tight site and a busy TFL route.
