Barnes House

An infill structure to a Edwardian townhouse with a structurally glazed pitched roof supported by laminated glass rafters. The rafters are dovetailed together to form an entirely glass roof construction; no metal fixings are necessary.

‘Low iron’ glass was specified to avoid the natural greenish colour when several panes of glass are laminated together and give a very clear, transparent effect.
