Dulwich Glass Box

This is an extension to the architect’s own home, and he had very specific requirements in terms of detail and specification. The roof and side are formed from just three extra large panes and a set of three tall bifold doors lead into the garden.

The gutter is located at the junction with the house, and careful detailing was required to create a neat resolution in this area. Note how the steel frame supporting the doors is overclad with the glazing unit, backpainted in a matching colour to give an elegant, flush effect.
