The living space of a rural cottage in North Lancashire was transformed by the addition of a double height extension with extensive views of the surrounding landscape. The glazed element forms part of a pitched roof structure that is harmoniously integrated with the original building. A large door at the ground floor level, slides into a pocket in the external wall.

We liaised with the structural engineer and contractor to ensure full co-ordination of the design and construction.
