Muswell Hill Extension

Our client had lived in this house for several years, and although they had plenty of space, the kitchen and dining area had been extended by a series of small, unplanned extensions, so that the layout was disjointed, underused and had a poor relationship with the garden.

The existing extensions were demolished and replaced by a new structure of roughly the same size, but having a simple, rectangular plan, a sloping ceiling and a much greater area of glazing. The end result is an energy-efficient structure that is light and spacious but is also comfortable to use all year round.

We dealt with every stage from initial design, Planning Permission, arranged competitive tenders for the building works, ensured compliance with the Building Regulations, and finally, we managed the whole project, installing the glazing and the specialist frameless doors ourselves.
