muswell hill library extension

Haringey Council instructed a major refurbishment of the Grade II Listed Muswell Hill Library which included the addition of a double height glass atrium to the side of the building. The objective was to modernise the building by improving accessibility with an addition of a lift to serve the two floors of the building.

Trombe were key in the design and installation of the bespoke glazed structure that consisted of large frameless glass panels bolted back to exposed steel to create the glass box side extension.
