Notting Hill house Infill
Infilling the space between existing rear outriggers is a common solution to extending London terrace houses. In this case the space available was quite narrow and deep but the extension was given design value by double height construction with structural openings to the existing building on ground and first floors. The dramatically long, monopitch roof is supported by laminated glass beams connected with brushed stainless steel shoes
