Oxfordshire Townhouse Extension

A dining room extension to the kitchen of a large semi-detached house in Oxford. Overall height was a critical design issue, hence the low roof level, designed to a minimal fall, and constructed from structural glazing supported by a combination of laminated glass and expressed steel beams.

The extension is built below the main garden level, with a tanked retaining wall and side doors opening onto a lower basement terrace area.
