Pimlico House
A two-storey glazed intervention between an existing townhouse in central London and a new extension. It features a glass roof in a single panel, a door at ground level and a fixed pane and opening side light at first floor level. Although the overall width was tight, the structure enables daylight to penetrate the living accommodation, a significant benefit in a site that is heavy overshadowed by surrounding buildings.
