Shepherd’s Bush House

The client was undertaking an extensive programme of extension and refurbishment to their property and Trombé was appointed to provide specialist glazed elements including the extra large format, pivoting door.

The door frame is 3.0m (10 feet) in width and over 2.5m in height, and operates on concealed pivots in the floor and head, opening over walk-on glazing that illuminates a basement room below. It was entirely custom-designed and manufactured to meet the client’s ambitious brief.

Trombé also designed, manufactured and installed an unusual facetted roof light above the new main stairwell of the property.
