South London Extension

This 1980s detached house located in a desirable suburb of south London had a disjointed plan layout on the ground floor with several small rooms and low ceilings. Our clients asked us to rationalize the plan and extend to create a family kitchen/dining room.

As the garden was relatively narrow, a large extension was not feasible, but by careful replanning we were able to transform the space with a small, glazed addition featuring sliding doors opening into the garden, and by incorporating structural glazing into the existing walls.

We also re-designed the internal space and worked with the Kitchen Design and Builder to achieve a co-ordinated end result.
